Browsing a website for a „suitable“ picture on your PC or tablet is a great thing! In a relaxed atmosphere, in your own home (or office!), your imagination grows as to what might fit into the room(s)… Or even what appeals to you in terms of style or material… So you can already make a pre-selection…

But it’s best to decide on a picture „live“…
To be able to hold the picture in your hand, look at the colours in daylight, see the picture hanging on a wall… and I ask myself:

How does the picture affect me?
What emotions does it trigger?
What are the colours „really“ like?
Does it „touch“ me and does it really „touch“ me?

Reasons to buy a picture…

The picture matches the interior of the flat or house.
It is a nice reminder of a special place or a special time.
Someone wants to give something „special“ as a gift.
The buyer likes the style, the colour, the genre.
It simply appeals and speaks to the person!

The artist is favoured and that’s why you keep buying new pictures by people who create art.
As an „art-loving“ person, you simply like to „collect“ pictures.
There are certainly many other reasons to buy a picture…

That’s why I recommend a visit to my studio, an exhibition or an art market. You are also welcome to take the painting with you for a deposit and place it in your rooms to experience the effect on site.
